Behind Dark Clouds

A friend gave me a clock she had spray painted pink and gold. She explained she had started on it, but didn't see what direction she was going anymore. I thought it was dxpe based off the color scheme; I was excited to have a new muse. I internalized the "dark clouds" as the face and background that covers the gold. I have realized that often times we are the ones that get in the way of our shine. Others may play a factor, yet we can control how we react to the experience.
